  • Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    The need for skilled, well-trained heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians is projected to grow as energy costs rise, policy initiatives evolve, and standards change. Concern for the environment and an emphasis on cost-efficient, energy-saving appliances will create excellent job prospects for HVAC technicians who have completed training from an accredited technical school.

  • Process Technology
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    Remington College’s Process Technology degree program offers training in how to monitor and control processing equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, distillation columns, boilers, and furnaces. Our goal is to prepare graduates for jobs as a plant or systems operator, power plant distributor or dispatcher, or chemical technician.* Learn from experienced process technicians who provide support and help the wheels of industry to function seamlessly. Imagine yourself at the heart of it all, working to ensure the smooth operation of an industrial plant! Several manufacturing and production plants today seek skilled journeymen and women to monitor, control, and troubleshoot instrumentation boards, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, controls, alarms, and similar specialized equipment.

    If you’re interested in how things work and enjoy mechanical and electrical operations, you can build on those skills and gain the prestige of a degree with Remington College’s 18-month Process Technology associate degree.

  • Construction and Building Maintenance
    Building Systems, Construction, and Manufacturing

    Remington College’s Facility Maintenance diploma program can help prepare you for a career in the building maintenance industry as a Facility Maintenance Technician or Building Maintenance Technician.

    In as few as nine months, students study and practice through hands-on labs and coursework. This material provides the background knowledge and skills to perform general maintenance and repair work. Because Facility Maintenance Technicians find, diagnose, and repair building issues, people who like solving problems and working with their hands may find career satisfaction in this field. If you think you might enjoy fixing mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues, or working with tools, consider completing your maintenance technician courses at Remington College.

  • Medical Assisting - Hybrid
    Medicine and Health Care

    The Medical Assisting Diploma Program provides training in both administrative and clinical procedures. The objective of this Program is to prepare graduates for entry level positions as medical assistants in a clinical or administrative role, to include insurance billing clerks, medical billers, laboratory technicians, or medical receptionist in work locations such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and home health agencies.

    Program completion normally requires 9 months.* The Program is divided into 9 monthly academic periods (modules) comprised of 8 months of classroom and laboratory instruction and one externship period. Classroom and laboratory instruction may be delivered residentially and via distance education (i.e., online). In order to be eligible for the externship period, students must successfully complete all courses in the academic periods and must have earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

    Upon successful completion of all areas of this Program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma in Medical Assisting.
